How should you drink hydrogen water or not?
By now, science has made several new revelations; the healthiest beverage you can drink is water. It's free from sugar, salt, chemicals, and all the other elements that harm and age cells. If water is so good for you, then boosting its hydrogen content should make it healthier? That's what beverage companies are trying to bank on. This so-called hydrogen water is one in which hydrogen gas is dissolved in increased quantities. The standard water bottles cost $3; however, when boosted with hydrogen content costs $1000 for people who want to gas up their own portable hydrogen water generator. That's all for water that most likely will not taste or look different from what comes out of your tap.
Since science has always validated everything for us, they tried to explore the benefits of drinking water infused with hydrogen gas. Some of these beverages claim that adding more hydrogen to the water increases energy, improves recovery after a workout, and reduces inflammation, making regular water look like a total loser in front of it. Although the research behind the same is not much, it looks like hydrogen water does hold some power to prevent oxidation of our body cells.
Other
benefits include:
- May provide antioxidant benefits
- May provide those with metabolic syndrome
- May benefit athletes by enhancing their performance
Should
you drink it or not drink it is the question
Though
the research has shown health benefits of hydrogen has shown positive results,
it is long before conclusions can be drawn. Unlike the pyramid
of meditation online that
offers long-term effects, hydrogen water is good enough if you have the money
to buy these expensive bottles.
